The second edition to my Dusklight series. This one turned out a little less creepy than the first one... but it's still disturbing in some ways. I'm not sure how or why these songs fit together in my mind, but they do. Lyrically these songs don't have a lot in common. If you prefer playlists based on one theme, then this probably isn't for you. The inspiration for this playlist was the dark and gritty things we think about in the very back of our minds. Different situations, different themes; it focuses on all the things we really think and not what we just wish we did. None of it is pretty, but a lot of the time I think that is how life really is. I enjoy piecing that together through songs, and this playlist is just one of those pieces.

Just a reminder for everyone to go join [info]the_audio_mess. It's a playlist community I share with a couple of other people who have awesome taste in music. It's a great way to discover new bands and artists, all wrapped up in a handy mix for you. We have over 100 playlists so far, and adding more every week.

[info]the_audio_mess was a secondary music community that I used to run a while back. It was originally a music prompt community for writers, but due to lack of activity and personal time restraints, I ended up closing it down about a year ago. However! I'm reopening it with the intention of making it a community for short weekly playlists only (4-10 songs) and I'm looking for some collaborators to help me out with posting those playlists.

If you're interested in collaborating or just want to leech some music, please head over and join!

No, my usual playlists and mixtapes that I post here will not be posted at [info]the_audio_mess. Like I said, it's for short playlists only. Yes, I'm difficult like that.

Um. My tastes have varied all over the spectrum the last month or so. My lifestory became a little rough recently, so the first half of the playlist is kind of attitude heavy and a little bitter. It mellows out and then.. it becomes depressing. It get's a little more light hearted towards the end, I guess because I've been trying to cheer myself up. I usually resort to happy songs when I'm sick of being angry or upset, so this is more or so a pathetic display of my emotions as of late the than anything. x.x

I had fun this time around with this playlist. The last two were kind of a pain in the ass, but I quite enjoyed the releases that came out this winter.  Once again my bias stands out. I can't seem to dislike anything SPYAIR  and BUMP OF CHICKEN puts out. Baroque earned themselves two spots on this playlist too and that makes me stupidly happy. But I was also a little depressed with this playlist, because in the middle of making it, I found out both Para:noir and NEXX were disbanding. Para:noir was actually the first song I chose for the playlist and I chose them to headline it because I thought they showed a lot of promise for good music to come. I was really impressed and excited for their latest song Amaryllis. Then out of no where, they break up. ._.; It was like a knife to the heart. Ugh.

* Joshua by INORAN was originally supposed to be on Best of Fall 2011 but I somehow skipped it. Instead of overlooking it, I just stuck it on this playlist.

This playlist has been my best kept secret for a few months now. I've never shared it with anyone because I haven't really come to terms with how I feel about it. It started out as a new addition to my Sketches by Crayons series, but somewhere along the way it turned into this dark and contorted image in my mind that I can't explain in words. The songs have nothing in common as far as content and sound goes, and yet if you listen to them in order they tell a very twisted story that I really wish I could write... It may not be my best playlist to date but it's currently my favorite.

Comment if you take.

Yeah... I'm keeping up with this series. This time I focused a little more on instrumental songs, rather than post-rock like I normally do. You'll notice my current love affair with violins and cellos in this volume. I don't have much else to say about this one. I hope you all enjoy.

If anyone has any problems downloading, let me know. I've been having bandwidth issues today.

I've been wanting to continue this series for a while, but I apparently have some aversion towards posting playlists that have no substance. As the title suggests, its just a random mesh of songs I happen to be listening to a lot lately. Theres no deeper meaning to any of these songs than that... and I feel a little cheap for posting it. xD To be honest, my music preferences lately have been a little embarrassing. But hey, what can I say? I'm a little tired of rock music.

Ii seems different hosting sites are now disabling shared links (Filesonic for example) so I'm not even going to bother looking for a secondary host for now. Mediafire will have to do for now.

[info]adventurecargo is now Members Only

I never wanted to do this. I have always been very against "Join to Download" communities and I never intended for [info]adventurecargo to become one of them. But with all the PIPA, SOPA, and ACTA garbage going on, I don't feel safe leaving this community open to anyone who might stumble upon it and report me. Yeah, I'm basically trying to save my own ass here. So until all of this blows over I'm TEMPORARILY locking this community and moderating my membership.

I am deeply sorry for this and I hope it doesn't cause too much of an inconvenience to anyone.
